For low back pain with cold above the pain, take foot taiyang and yangming; with heat above the pain, take foot jueyin; when the patient cannot bend or straighten, take foot shaoyang; with heat within and panting, take the blood luo of foot shaoyin in the popliteal fossa.

For qi rebelling upward, needle the depression in the middle of the chest and the moving vessel below the chest.

痿厥，四肢拘束而烦乱，就赶快解开它，一天两次；麻木不仁的，十天才有知觉，不要停，病好了才止。
For flaccid reversal with the four limbs bound and fretful, release them quickly, twice a day. Where there is numbness, feeling returns in ten days; do not stop, and cease only when the disease is gone.

呃逆，用草刺鼻，打喷嚏，喷嚏一出就好了；不打喷嚏，就赶快迎引其气，立刻就好。使他大惊，也可以好。
For hiccup, prod the nose with a straw so that the patient sneezes; the sneeze ends it. If no sneeze comes, hasten to draw the qi out, and it stops at once. Frightening the patient greatly will also end it.
