Foot yangming is the moving vessel that clasps the throat; its transporting point is in the chest. Hand yangming comes next, outside its transporting point, not reaching one cun from the curved cheek. Hand taiyang is exactly at the curved cheek. Foot shaoyang is below the ear, behind the curved cheek. Hand shaoyang emerges behind the ear and rises above the Wangu bone. Foot taiyang clasps the great sinew of the neck, at the hairline.
**「膺中」本篇1見**，與「曲頰」三見、「髮際」一見同為部位之目。**此段以六陽之脉排比成序**：足陽明、手陽明、手太陽、足少陽、手少陽、足太陽，自喉而至髮際，次第分明。**「其腧在膺中」者，脉行於胸，穴不必舉**，讀者當以脉之次第求之，不以穴名求之。
足太陰之筋，起于大指之端内側，上結于内踝；其直者，絡于膝内輔骨，上循陰股，結于髀，聚于陰器，上腹，結于臍，循腹裏，結于肋，散于胸中；其内者，著于脊。其病足大指支内踝痛，轉筋痛，膝内輔骨痛，陰股引髀而痛，陰器紐痛，下引臍兩脅痛，引膺中脊内痛。治在燔鍼刼刺，以知爲數，以痛爲輸，命曰孟秋痺也。

The sinews of foot taiyin begin at the inner end of the great toe and knot at the inner ankle. The straight branch ties at the inner shin bone of the knee, ascends along the inner thigh, knots at the thigh, gathers at the genitals, ascends the abdomen, knots at the navel, runs inside the abdomen, knots at the ribs and disperses in the chest; the inner part attaches to the spine. Its diseases: the great toe pulls and the inner ankle hurts, there is cramping pain, pain at the inner shin bone of the knee, pain pulling from the inner thigh to the hip, a knotted pain at the genitals, pain pulling down to the navel and both ribs, and pain pulling at the middle of the breast and inside the spine. Treat with heated needle and swift piercing, taking recovery as the measure and the painful spot as the point. It is called the first-autumn bi.

When evil is in the lungs the skin hurts, there is chill and fever, the qi rises and the patient pants, sweats, and coughs so that the shoulders and back are shaken. Take the shu points on the outer side of the chest and the five viscera shu beside the third vertebra of the back. Press quickly with the hand; where the patient feels relief, needle there; take also the supraclavicular fossa to disperse it.
