Literal
腸 is the intestines; 澼 is a rare word for watery discharge — the graph is built on 辟, to open or to split, with the water radical added, so the picture is of something being let go through water. Put together it is the disease later ages called 痢, dysentery: a flux from the bowel carrying blood, white froth, or pus. Chapter 28 asks about it four times running, once for each kind of discharge, and each time reads the pulse against it.
Shuowen

In brief

Dysentery — a flux from the bowel, carrying blood, white froth, or pus and blood. Chapter 28 treats it as a set piece, asking four questions in a row and matching what is passed against what the pulse is doing: with blood, heat in the body kills and coldness lets live; with white froth, a sunken pulse lives and a floating one dies; with pus and blood, a pulse hanging on the edge of breaking kills and a slippery large one lives; and when neither heat nor the hanging pulse is present, it comes back to the same test — slippery and large is life, hanging and rough is death.

When the spleen vessel beats up on the outside and is sunken within, it is intestinal flux, and in time it resolves of itself. A small and relaxed liver vessel is intestinal flux too, and is easily treated. A small vessel that beats up and is sunken is intestinal flux with blood in the stool. If the blood is warm and the body feverish, the person dies. Flux of the heart and liver likewise passes blood; when the two stores are affected together it can still be treated. A vessel that is small, sunken and rough is intestinal flux; if the body is feverish the person dies, and once the heat shows, death comes in seven days.

How it has been translated

Every rendering below is a decision about which reader is being addressed. There is no neutral option.

Wiseman & FengdysenteryThey identify the disease with the modern term, on the grounds that the discharges chapter 28 lists are exactly those of bacillary and amoebic dysentery.
Unschuldintestinal fluxUnschuld keeps closer to the graph, rendering 澼 as a flowing-out rather than importing a modern diagnosis.
This siteintestinal fluxWe keep flux rather than dysentery: chapter 28 is not describing one organism but three different discharges, and the modern word would collapse distinctions the chapter is careful to keep apart. Where we do need the clinical identification we say so in the gloss.
