Every passage on this site is attributable to the people who produced it. Each passage carries its own credit line; this page gathers them together.
Roles
- Transcriber — produces the character text from the base edition.
- Romaniser — supplies pinyin, including readings specific to the medical sense.
- Translator — produces the English rendering.
- Reviewer — checks the passage against the base edition and against our term conventions; a passage is not marked reviewed until a reviewer is named on it, and a reviewer is someone other than the transcriber and the translator.
- Term editor — maintains the glossary entries and the record of competing renderings.
Current contributors
No contributor is credited on any passage yet. As passages complete review, each person will appear here with the passages they are responsible for.
If you would like to contribute — transcription, romanisation, translation, or review — please introduce yourself through the contact page and tell us which of the roles above you are offering and on what material. We credit by the name you choose; a reviewer is always someone other than the transcriber and the translator.
Not the same thing: the physicians and editors who wrote and transmitted the texts themselves — Qi Bo, Zhang Zhongjing, Wang Bing — are historical figures, catalogued separately under Authors & periods. This page is about the people who make this site.
